About, independence and legal notice

Not a government app

Our apps are an independent, commercial study service. They are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or operated by:

• the Home Office, UK Visas and Immigration or any other part of the UK Government;
• Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) or any other part of the Government of Canada;
• any official test centre or test provider.

The apps do not book tests, submit applications or give immigration or legal advice. Passing a practice test in the apps does not count towards any official requirement.

Rules, fees and booking are set by the authorities. Always check the official pages:

Where our content comes from

Official test questions are not published, and we do not use them. Our questions, explanations and lessons are written by our team from publicly available facts, including the official study materials and reference sources such as Wikipedia, which we link to where useful. We do not copy the official handbooks. Names of tests, guides and public bodies are used only to describe what the apps help you prepare for.

We check content before publishing and correct mistakes when we find them. Facts and rules can change; if you spot an error, tell us at citizen@yolomate.eu.
